Wisp nearby is a nice ski resort featuring a delightful 700-foot drop from top to bottom served by 12 ski lifts; it has 32 runs and boasts 8 feet of beautiful snow every season. Wisp has 132 acres to ski on; 69% of the runs are beginner and intermediate which is delightful for novices; 31% of the runs are red and black. On close by Youghiogheny River you find a class IV bit of whitewater; the Tippy-Top segment is 4 miles long. It could be said that this bit of Youghiogheny River is a spot for fun whitewater rafting and kayaking. Don't go whitewater rafting and kayaking prior   to first checking restrictions; it's dangerous matter.
