Everybody enjoys Jay Peak and its 385 acres   of ski terrain. 60% of the slopes are easy while 40% of them are red and black and appropriate for skilled skiers. The 76 slopes of Jay Peak are all enjoyable and are served by 8 good ski lifts. The drop is 2,153 feet, and this ski area gets blanketed by 30 feet of good snow per winter. This is a popular place for folks from Montgomery Center, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too great to be true. A quick tour to South Branch Trout River near Hazen's Notch Campground is a great idea; in case you are seeking a bowling alley nearby, Double D Lanes is close to Hazen's Notch   Campground. This is such a stunning campground.
