In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you could go water skiing here, and bike riding is one of the cool things you could do here. The close by class III-V, 2-mile-in-length County 60/12 bridge to Meadow River confluence portion of whitewater on Glade Creek - Meadow River Tributary is a lot of fun. The beginners should probably stay away from this bit of Glade Creek - Meadow River Tributary. You must check the situation in advance of a trip; whitewater rafting and kayaking can become perilous.
