| | AMENITIES: Boating
Walter's camp is an ok place. The owner is good to work with if & when he's there. On the other hand, the people he has managing the camp when he's not there are aweful to work with. They are constantly on the attack against campers, believe me i know first hand. Says Patricia (Tue, 1 Jun 2010)
Walters Camp Ground should be called Walters Launch. If you are a River Rat or Party Barger it is the Place for you. But to Camp and fish? Not, no tables in the camping area, the shore line is choked with weed 10 to 20 feet out, the showers and restroom are a non ventilated sauna, which they turn the lights off at night. The only place | |
to fish is just off of the boat launch where the boats are landed, between my lines being ran over and cut and the boats parking on them not much fishing can be done. Says Paul Holland (Thu, 2 Aug 2012)
