On Whatcom Creek close by you bump into   the 2-mile-from-beginning-to-end Lake Whatcom to Yew St. Bridge section of class III-IV+(V+) whitewater. The beginners should most likely stay away from this section of Whatcom Creek. Always check current conditions before heading out whitewater boating in view of the fact that whitewater boating is a perilous pastime. Looking for some flowing water? Try Barnes Creek; go on a visit to Lang's Horse & Pony Farm if you want to ride a horse. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range rules! If you are trying to find a marina, Twin Bridges Marina is around here. If you want to hit the beach, Samish Beach is close at hand, and Bay View State Park is worth a visit.   All our national parks are good locations to go to, and North Cascades National Park is no exception.
