This is a glorious place for RV-ing; on a sunny day it's a good idea to enjoy the weather at the picnic area. There's a store here where you may buy things you must have, and it's always amusing to go for a canoe ride at Deep Creek Lake State Park. There's a total of 12 lifts at close by ski mountain Wisp. Wisp boasts 8 feet of great snow every winter, has an elevation difference of 700 feet, and 32 ski runs. 69% of the 132 acres of skiing area at Wisp is beginner and intermediate, great for kids and beginners. 31% of the ski runs on the other hand are demanding   and great for expert skiers.
