This is a really nice RV park. The owners, Doug and Kimberly, are really friendly and smile a lot. The bathrooms are clean, and I mean even bug free! The place has a homey feel too. They have all the necessary hookups, picnic table and fire pit, and they had a laundry facility, which we didn't need at the time. For a small fee, you can have a really nice | |
(decently long) hot shower. The lots are clean, and most have really nice shady and grassy spots. They have a cute gazebo/pavilion for group gatherings, and a small tent area. The trail that runs behind the spaces lead to a small
| | and pleasant creek. A short walk takes you to a nice little beach cove to pick up lots of oyster shells and other treasures. It's a little close to the main highway, but having a fully stocked store is a clincher for things you may forget... like s'mores fixin's. They offer a horseshoe pit and checkers table for some entertainment. Nice to know that Camp Parsons, the Boy Scout camp, is nearby so families can have some fun camping too. They welcome pets, but be nice and pick up after them! Some people that were there while we were didn't take care of that. Overall, a very pleasant and restful place to stay! Oh, and let's not forget, they usually have vacancy! Especially when all the state | |

parks are full. Nice to know that even after hours, by virtue of the honor system, you can pull in late and still register for the evening. Great for us since we did a last-minute camping trip. Make sure to keep this place in mind for a pleasant stay! Says Arleen
