The food is great, but this is more like a fishing Man Camp than a family resort. Children can never make any noise and dogs can never bark. This makes for       a very stressful vacation. You are constantly trying to keep your kids quiet, even though they are just having fun, or stay in your cabin with your dog to keep it from barking. Endless rules and inconsistent service. The paying customer   is always in trouble here, being chastised for noise or something they did wrong. It's like taking a vacation in a prison camp. Meanwhile gas powered golf carts and ATVs are constantly roaring down the hill, making pollution and loud noise. Men were taking beer out on the boats. Young adults were smoking marijuana on the swimming dock at dusk and urinating in the lake. Not a family environment. Says Z (Tue, 14 Jul 2015) There's a store here where you can buy things you need, and go for a calming rowboat ride at Whisperwood Lodge & Cottages. There is a game room for staying entertained, and have a break with an excellent game of billiards at the pool table. Rent a boat here at   Whisperwood Lodge & Cottages, and go for a ride on the water.
