Kayak paddlers on this segment of Gandy Creek should have a little familiarity in whitewater boating. Unsurprisingly, whitewater boating is enjoyable but perilous; check the situation before heading out. A quick tour to Swallow Rock Run right next door to Swallow Rock Campground is a good idea, and Monongahela National Forest is a perfect site to stretch your   legs a bit.
