The FS 51 to Island Campground segment is a good 5.1-mile-in-length class II-III section of whitewater on Greenbrier River - East Fork. In general this section of Greenbrier River - East Fork is an exciting place for raft paddling. You have to check the latest conditions ahead of going; raft paddling could get treacherous. Places like Cass Railroad State Park are great to check out, and the Chaffey Trail offers hiking at its best. Skiing at Snowshoe is one of those things you just must do, and there's great hiking along the Camp Five Trail. This campground has so much. Lynn Knob is a peak you can spot from   Little River Campground, and Little River Campground is right by the East Fork Trail.
