Nearby there is a pleasant 4-mile-long type II-III whitewater stretch, the Merritt to Coles Corner portion of Nason Creek. This portion of Nason Creek is a mid difficulty stretch for whitewater rafting and kayaking. Whitewater rapids are risky phenomenons, so you ought to check conditions ahead of going. 7,313 feet of altitude variation and 32.7 miles of backpacking is what you get at Icicle Trail, a gorgeous backcountry hiking trail nearby. Icicle Trail is a hard   four and a half days of backpacking.
