I have been to so many because I am a WA native. There are many sites that sit on the river or creek. The grounds are beautiful and plenty close to Leavenworth. Says Melissa Unsurprisingly it can be tough to get to a primitive campground such as this one, but it's worth the effort. There is lodging where you may stay the night in wonderful comfort, and natural splendor surrounds this primitive campground. At this primitive campground you can get a lovelier wilderness experience than you would get       at a more civilized campground. Hope you enjoy fishing, Tumwater Campground has some great fishing, and there's a store here at Tumwater Campground where you could purchase things you would like. In the event that you have a thing   about boating you're in luck, boating is good here at Tumwater Campground. Amenities and facilities are few in primitive campgrounds such as this one, and restrooms are unsurprisingly available. Water hookups are on hand here, and if by chance you love comfort, there are good cabins here at Tumwater Campground. The Tumwater Campground to Leavenworth section has a length of 7.5 miles; you come upon this stretch of whitewater on Wenatchee River. It's a class V stretch. For proficient raft paddlers this stretch of Wenatchee River is an exciting spot to run. You have to check circumstances before you go; whitewater kayaking or rafting could turn hazardous. The 4.2-mile-from-start-to-finish   Snow Lakes Trail has a variation between top and bottom of 3,981 feet; it is a delightful hiking trail.
