With its 5,982 foot altitude variation it's a charming hiking trail; the Sourdough Lookout Trail is 16.4 miles of nice trekking. You must plan three days to walk the challenging Sourdough Lookout Trail. Jack Mountain Trail close at hand is 9.4 miles in length and has a nice 4,860-foot variation in altitude; it's a pretty hiking trail. Jack Mountain Trail is a difficult two   days of hiking. Panther Creek Trail is 8.7 miles from start to finish.
