Naturally there are showers at this campground; don't desert your       old dog at home, pet animals are allowed. Of course it may be hard to get to a primitive campground like this one, but it's worth the effort. Natural prettiness surrounds this primitive campground, and in case you have a thing   about boating you are in luck, boating is splendid at this campground. A playground is at your disposal for the kids, and rental boats are available here at Stillwater Campground. This is a delightful locality for tent camping, and a game of horseshoes is a great way to spend some time at Stillwater Campground. Obviously facilities are few in a primitive campground like this; experience nature in Vermont at its best at a primitive campground like Stillwater Campground. The Groton to Wells River Village sector has a mileage of 9.5 miles; you bump into this part of whitewater on Wells River. It's a type I-III part. The Groton to Wells River Village sector of Wells River is well suited   for whitewater boaters who have been raft paddling for a bit but who are not yet set for the genuinely perilous rapids.
