North River Campground, Virginia

|
| | AMENITIES: Restrooms
Been hunting there every November since 1970. I was 8 the first year my dad brought up there. This place has so much of my life there. The memories I have of north River camp are all good one. Highly recommanded place to camp, spend the day, fishing, hunting. The picture is the stream that run right beside the camp ground. Some years it's full; other it's low. Says Tim Mizell (see picture)

a delightful escape from everyday life. If you're feeling down from spending too much time indoors, No cause for concern; North River Campground in Virginia is a delightful place to go. North River Campground is a very popular
| | old favorite campground among people of Mount Solon. There's such an incredible array of things to do at North River Campground including hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and playing golf, so it's impossible to get bored. The natural prettiness at this primitive campground is great, and naturally there are restrooms here. Obviously it could be difficult to get to a primitive campground such as this one, but it's worth the effort. Camping in Virginia is such an enjoyable thing to do. Such a fine choice of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back time and again. A type II-IV, 26-mile-from-beginning-to-end whitewater bit | |
