And if that's not enough there's plenty more entertaining things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Elk Park is right here at Deep Creek Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Icy Hill Dugway. This campground is a good place to stop by. If you have a boat, Lucerne Valley Marina is a tremendous marina, and nice hiking is available along the Uinta Highline Trail. proximity. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A good spot like Steinaker State Park close to Deep Creek Campground is too delightful to leave out, and there's glorious hiking along the Hideout Eagle Basin Trail.
