The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always pretty. There's a fine grade I(II) segment of whitewater nearby on Big Sewee River, the 4-mile-long Highway 58 bridge to Decatur-Watts Bar Road section. It can be said that this segment of Big Sewee River is a site for learner whitewater boating. Don't go whitewater boating in advance of first checking the latest conditions; it's dangerous stuff. Head out on the stunning water at Cotton Port Marina and Campground; you have to explore Purser Slough when you're here. | |

This location, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. There's great hiking along the Laurel-Snow Trail, and a pleasant location like Harrison Bay State Park is too wonderful to leave out.
