Fenton Lake State Park is a delightful location, and Deer Canyon is also a good site to look at. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Pajarito Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly   staff, and not far from Redondo Campground you'll locate Deer Lake which is a lovely lake.
