Lots of folks stay at this campground in order to be in the neighborhood of Santa Fe National Forest. A visit to New Mexico is not complete without some camping. The 1-mile-long Cundiyo to Santa Cruz Reservoir portion is a grade IV-V portion of whitewater on Rio Santa Cruz. The Cundiyo to Santa Cruz Reservoir portion of Rio Santa Cruz is appropriate for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater rafting or kayaking for a period of time. Check the situation in advance of a trip on the whitewater, otherwise it's not secure. Places like Santa Fe National Forest are good to pop by, and obviously Rio Medio flows through this region. Take a hike on   the Medio Dia Trail, and a nice location nearby is La Caja. Lots of fun is at this campground.
