Ok, it's time for camping, so what do you say? New Canyon Campground in New Mexico is a good place to go. Scores of folks stay at New Canyon Campground so they can go to Manzano Mountains State Park. This section of New Mexico is always a delight to visit through camping season.
There's such a great deal of things to do at New Canyon Campground including relaxing, and hiking, so there's no way to get bored.

Such a wonderful choice of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back over and over. Amenities and facilities are few in primitive campgrounds like this
 one, and at New Canyon Campground you can get a finer wilderness experience than you would get at a more civilized campground. Go for a hike on the Bosque Trail, and Osha Peak is a peak you can spot from New Canyon Campground. Good hiking is available along the Cerro Blanco Trail, and you certainly should visit Manzano Mountains State Park if you're here. This campground is so pleasant. The Crest Trail is a magnificent hiking trail next to New Canyon Campground. If you havenít been to Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, you should schedule some time for it since you're here. Going for a hike on the Kayser Mill Trail is always a tremendous adventure; you'll perhaps meet some folks from  
Albuquerque here. Be careful coming to New Canyon Campground, you might not ever want to return back home again. Near New Canyon Campground you hit upon the Ox Canyon Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; needless to say, A trip to Canon de Turieta is always fun.
