Campground in NC with the word primitive used as many times as they did. If you can walk 100ft and buy a 10lb bag of ice and plug in your cellphone in the heated bath house, it aint primitive. Says Joe Ladd At an elevation of 3,020 feet is where Black Mountain Campground is located. Here there are 43 campsites available. Fire rings with cooking grill and a table are offered at each site. Facilities include flush toilets, drinking water,       trash can, showers, and sewage disposal (1 mile away). Pets are welcome, but must be on a leash. Black Mountain Campground opens mid April thru October. Me and my family have camped here only 2 times and we LOVE IT! This will   be our camping place forever. I had not found a camp ground as wonderful as this one. If you have not camped here you are missing out. Says Pamela This is a great campground. It is really delightful here at this primitive campground, and at this primitive campground you may get a more enjoyable wilderness experience than you would get at a more civilized campground. The perfect local attractions and all   the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly.
