Secord Lake Campground, Michigan     Custom Search   I joined my husband for a visit to this campground in November, 2009 & while my husband bowhunted I stayed at camp. I was surprised to see they closed the womens bathroom for the winter & when I used the mens (unisex?) bathroom I was appalled at the lack of housekeeping. The toilets and showers were absolutely filthy and looked like they had not been cleaned in months? The health dept should visit this place on a regular basis. I resorted to peeing outside and skipped the shower entirely. Please clean your bathrooms and then keep them clean!!! Primitive camping at a campround like Secord Lake Campground is an outstanding way to be next to the wilderness. Amenities and facilities are few in primitive campgrounds like this one; in the event that natural beauty is   what you feel like, this primitive campground is what you would like. Some of the things you can do here at Secord Lake Campground are fishing, swimming, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. How long has it been since you went camping? Secord Lake Campground in Michigan is precisely the location. Secord Lake Campground is frequently visited by the folks from Gladwin. At Secord Lake Campground exciting stuff to do is bountiful; it's always fun to be at this place. Michigan is a delightful location for outdoors people. All the great local attractions around here and the great variety of outdoors recreation are good causes to come.   The East Fireline Trail offers hiking at its best, and S. Higgins Lake State Park is a delightful spot.
