Little Girls Point Campground, Gogebic Range, Michigan     Custom Search   8/22/10:  Spur of the minute trip for myself and my 11yr old daughter.  We arrived campground mid-Thursday with hopes of staying through Saturday and was lucky to score a campsite for tenting.  We were very pleased with the clean and beautiful campground.  Restrooms were clean too (no showers). Rita the camp office manager was very pleasant and suggested many things to look at while up there.  We brought to small kayaks which we used on Montreal River to paddle upstream from the bridge near the power company.  Checkout the great waterfalls as Montreal makes it to Superior.  We parked in the power company lot and walked the entire length down to the mouth of the river.  We also       went to nearby Black River Water Falls/Ottawa National Forest, great hiking and beautiful waterfalls.  Take the time to see all the falls.  I would go back with my family for sure. Says Mark from MSP There aren't loads of   facilities at Little Girls Point Campground given that it is a primitive campground. Primitive camping is a fine way to be near the wilderness; it is very pretty here at this primitive campground. Getting to a primitive campground like Little Girls Point Campground could be slightly challenging, but it's well worth it. Michigan is a magnificent outdoors state. Little Girls Point Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Gogebic Range. All the perfect local attractions close at hand and so much to do will undeniably have you coming back many times. Little Girls Point Campground is enormously popular with the folks in Hurley. There's such an incredible array of things   to do in the neighborhood of Little Girls Point Campground, and it is a fun site for everybody.
