Turtle Run Campground is loved by visitors from Leesburg. The 2.5-mile-long Fairfax Dam to Goose Creek Country Club segment is a type I-II(III) segment of whitewater on Goose Creek. The Fairfax Dam to Goose Creek Country Club segment of Goose Creek is fitting for raft paddlers who have been kayak paddling for a bit but who are not yet set for the especially perilous rapids. For your security you have to always check restrictions ahead of going kayak paddling. Good hiking is available along the Loudoun Heights Trail, and a visit to Wolf Trap Farm Park is worthwhile.
