If you're trying to locate a class I-II whitewater bit to run, you're in luck; the Highway 68 to Potomac River section is a perfect 11-mile-from-beginning-to-end piece of Antietam Creek. This bit of Antietam Creek is advised for learner paddlers. Unsurprisingly, raft paddling is exciting but risky; check the latest conditions previous to going. No need to travel far to stop at attention-grabbing stuff like Horseshoe Bend.
