Getting to this primitive campground could be fairly hard, but it's well worth it. There are water hookups, and if you have a thing about nature you will like a primitive campground like this one. Smith Lake Campground is a popular spot with the people of Moyie Springs. Obviously conveniences are few in a primitive campground like this. There's more to do right next door to Smith Lake Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Camping out certainly is a fun thing to do, and Smith Lake Campground in Idaho is the outdoors at its finest. | |
There are so many fun things in the neighborhood of Smith Lake Campground, and campgrounds like these are splendid. Natural loveliness surrounds this primitive campground, and as expected there are restrooms here.

| | to Idaho is not complete without some camping. Near Smith Lake Campground you stumble on the Sidehill Trail which is a great hiking trail. Swamps don’t sound that magnificent but Deer Lake Swamp close to Smith Lake Campground is pretty magnificent. Nixon Number One Dam is a beautiful place right next door to Smith Lake Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Rutledge Creek Trail. A campground like this is too great to miss. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Mirror Lake Golf Course. On a perfect day at Smith Lake Campground you can take a hike along the Danquist Trail, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Moyie | |
