Near Rackliff Campground is a great 15-mile-long run of whitewater on Lochsa River, a class III-V, this is the Split Creek Pack Bridge to Lowell section. For experienced whitewater boaters this run of Lochsa River is a cool site to raft. Check restrictions before you go on the whitewater, or else it's not safe and sound. A trip to Twentymile Bar is always fun, and going for a hike along the Beaver Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Clearwater Mountains. A visit to Rackliff Campground wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Clearwater National Forest; do take a hike on the Elk Creek Trail. | |
