At this primitive campground you may get a more delightful wilderness experience than you would get at a more civilized campground.   This primitive campground is to be found in a very delightful location, and after you arrive at this primitive campground you will realize it was well worth the effort getting here. The 15-mile-long Split Creek Pack Bridge to Lowell sector is a category III-V sector of whitewater on Lochsa River. This sector of Lochsa River is proposed for proficient whitewater boaters only. Of course, whitewater paddling is cool but treacherous; check conditions before heading out. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Knife Edge Campground; Mule Creek Trail is a nice local trail. Clearwater National Forest is a great place to stop at; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Beaver Creek Trail.   This campground has so many amusing things to offer.
