This segment of Boise River - South Fork is suited for raft paddlers who have been kayak paddling for some time but who are not yet prepared for the especially dangerous rapids. Whitewater rapids are dangerous phenomenons, so you should check the latest conditions before heading out. Three Island Crossing State Park is a pretty place any time of year, and enjoy a round of golf at Silver Sage Golf Course. Go for a hike on the Roaring River Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Mountain   Home. This is a good campground.
