You find the 4-mile-from-beginning-to-end Swamp Creek Trail to White Sand Creek portion of Big Sand Creek nearby; this is a class V whitewater part. Don't go whitewater paddling on this part of Big Sand Creek unless you think your whitewater paddling capabilities are very great. Whitewater boating could become dangerous, so check circumstances before heading out. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sally Ridge Trail. Lakes are great; Upper Bear Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Colt Creek Campground. So many fun things to do here in the Bitterroot   Range, too great to be true.
