Among the things you can do close to Buffalo Campground are fishing, playing golf, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Buffalo Campground is a very popular old favorite   campground among folks from Island Park. So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back repeatedly. The Box Canyon to Last Chance portion on Henrys Fork is a close by grade II whitewater section, 4 miles in length. This section of Henrys Fork is appropriate for paddlers who haven't been paddling for so long. Unsurprisingly, paddling is exciting but risky; check current conditions before you go. Toms Creek flows through this neighborhood, and do take a hike on the Tin Cup Trail. If you're stopping by Buffalo Campground from Island Park, you won't be the only one, and a tour to Harriman State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.   This campground is so glorious.
