The Sawtooth Range scenery is always pretty. This is a primitive campground which of course means that there are not many facilities. Camping in Idaho is such a fun activity. Scores of folks stay here to be in the neighborhood

A visit to Sawtooth National Forest when you're here at Bighorn Campground is a tremendous idea, and there are great locations to discover along the Sheep Drive Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Sawtooth Range, too great to be true. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Soldier Mountain; going for a hike on the Yuba River Trail is always a great adventure. A campground like this is too fine to miss. Going to Three Island Crossing State Park in close proximity to Bighorn Campground is a nice thing to do, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Bremner Trail. Beaver Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth visiting. | |

Go for a hike on the Hot Springs Creek Trail; nearby Gardner Gulch is a great place to go. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Bighorn Campground has it all.
