There is a hand pump for water, and the distances to various ''attractions'' are incorrect. This campground is very special in that the sites are quite private, lots of foliage between sites, and you are not jammed in next to other campers. Very peaceful here. Says Fred When you go camping at a primitive campground like Lake Creek Campground you're truly camping. Of course it could be challenging to get to a primitive campground like this one, but it's worth the effort. Needless to say there are restrooms here, and there aren't many services at Lake Creek Campground in view       of the fact that it is a primitive campground. So much amusing stuff in close proximity to Lake Creek Campground, and it is a wonderful escape from the city. Colorado is a wonderful site for campers. The great local attractions   and so much stuff to do are sure to keep you coming back over and over. Camping out definitely is an entertaining thing to do, and Lake Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in Colorado. There are water hookups; if natural prettiness is what you yearn for, this primitive campground is what you would like. There's so much stuff to do at Lake Creek Campground including fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and playing golf, so you won’t get bored. A lake nearby is Rito Alto Lake; a tour to Rio Grande National Forest revives the spirit. Going for a hike along the Lake of the Clouds Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
