There is a good hiking trail near Janeway Campground called the Blue Creek Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Geneva Lake. Paonia State Park is worth stopping at if you're at Janeway Campground, and getting to Avalanche Creek from Janeway Campground is trouble-free. A campground like this is too perfect to miss.
