Weaver lake Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California     Custom Search   Road not maintained by USFS, very rough. No maintained campsites or facilities; only 1 level spot. Weaver lake Campground   is one of the places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There aren't a lot of conveniences at Weaver lake Campground given that it is a primitive campground. The pleasant selection of local attractions, and such a pleasant variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Outdoors folks generally love this part of California. Some activities here at Weaver lake Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and playing golf, so it's totally impossible to get bored. The Wild Plum Campground to Downieville segment, a whitewater run on Yuba River - North Fork is 13 miles long. This close by run of whitewater is a type IV-V. This part of Yuba River -   North Fork is nice for those with a lot of whitewater experience.
