In case natural beauty is what you desire, this primitive campground is what you would like. When you go camping at a primitive campground such as this one you're beyond doubt camping. Naturally there are restrooms here, and there are water hookups. Turtle Rock Campgrounds is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Ok, time to get out and breathe some fresh air, it's time to go camping, and Turtle Rock Campgrounds in California is the outdoors at its best. Turtle Rock Campgrounds is a very popular campground with       the folks of Markleeville. Needless to say it can be tough to get to a primitive campground such as this one, but it's worth the effort. Obviously there are showers at this campground. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the cool stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. So many local attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation are tremendous incentives to come. On Carson River - East Fork nearby you encounter the 20-mile-long Hangman's Bridge to CA-NV border segment of type II whitewater. This run of Carson River - East Fork is a run of water fitting for learners in kayak paddling.
