There's a splendid type I-IV sweep of whitewater nearby on Elk Creek, the 5-mile-from-beginning-to-end Elk Creek Road to Klamath River sector. When the conditions are right this sweep of Elk Creek is an enjoyable sweep of river for raft paddling. Naturally, raft paddling is amusing but treacherous; check the situation previous to going.
