Needless to say facilities are few in a primitive campground like this. There's such a great deal of things to do in close proximity to   Rainbow Pool Campground, and it is a very good campground. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's swimming, hiking, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. A fine 18-mile-from-beginning-to-end whitewater   stretch on Tuolumne River is nearby. This, the Lumsden Campground to Wards Ferry Bridge sector, is a grade IV-V.
