Mountain High, the nearby ski resort has 16 ski lifts and gets covered by 12 feet of beautiful snow per winter on its 62 slopes. The elevation difference is 1,600 feet at Mountain High. Mountain High has 290 acres to ski on; 65% of the slopes are blue and green which is perfect for beginners; 35% of the slopes are advanced and expert. 12 feet of wonderful snow fall per year on the 816-foot vertical drop of Ski Sunrise, the close by ski hill. Ski Sunrise has 24 slopes and 4 good ski lifts. 100 acres of skiable land is on hand at Ski Sunrise; easy slopes   account for 70% while advanced and expert slopes make up 30% of the slopes.
