Says Chase Corry Black Rock is a very beautiful place to go visit. The roads are very narrow and there are a lot of cliff sides. My grandfather lived out there for a few years on a ranch which borders the Ishi trail. I have walked the Ishi trail and that is a beautiful experience as well. It runs along a river. The whole drive in there is pretty amazing you can see the valley below plus the Big Black Rock sticking out of the ground it looks more like its own mountain. While going to this region in California it's a tremendous idea to go camping for a couple of days too. It's   not very good for you to spend too much time in the city; you need to get out from time to time, and Black Rock Campground in California is exactly what you need. So many local attractions and such a nice variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back over and over. As if Black Rock Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so most likely you want to stick around for a while. There is so much exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Black Rock Campground, and scores of people enjoy coming here to get away. Primitive campgrounds like these are an excellent way to get out in the great outdoors. Naturally there   are restrooms here, and naturally conveniences are few in a primitive campground such as this.
