Near Sierra-rainier is a   perfect 9-mile-from-beginning-to-end segment of whitewater on Puyallup River, a type II, this is the Kapowsin Road Bridge to Highway 162 segment. It's probably ok to go kayak paddling on this segment of Puyallup River even if you feel your kayak paddling capabilities aren't very perfect. Don't forget to check current conditions previous to going kayak paddling to guarantee your safety. Why not go on a visit to nearby Emerald Downs and race a go-kart during your stay at Sierra-rainier. Bring the children on some exciting rides at close by Pacifiic Grand Prix, and you could race go-karts at nearby APD KART Racing. This is such a fun spot for a campground. Some of the water close by flows,   like Voight Creek, and going for an outstanding fishing trip at Capt. Jerry's Charters is always enjoyable.
