| | a type III whitewater stretch to run, you're in luck; the Buttermilk Creek to town of Twisp section is a tremendous 10-mile-in-distance piece of Twisp River. This section of Twisp River is proposed for whitewater boaters of medium familiarity. Unsurprisingly, whitewater paddling is enjoyable but risky; check circumstances previous to going. A delightful nearby backcountry hiking trail having a height variation of 3,442 feet is Driveway Butte Trail, a glorious 9.4-mile-from-start-to-finish backcountry walk.
