Lewis River RV Park, Washington

| | By far one of my worst camping experiences. Sites are very small and ours along with almost all the others we looked at were littered with trash and cigarette butts. The facilities were very dirty with more than one water spout not working. There are no play areas for kids except for the small pool area that was suppose to be open from 10am to 9pm but at 11am (1hour before checkout time) they were still trying to fill it with the garden hose. In my opinion these things should be taken care of during the hours the pool is shut down rather than having several of the camp guests waiting outside the pool gate wondering why it's not open an hour later than the posted time. Get your sleeping bag packed and get your motor running; Lewis River RV Park in Washington is a really good site to spend some time. This part of Washington is always a joy
| | to pop by through camping season. So many entertaining things next to Lewis River RV Park; it is a good escape from the ordinary. Lots of people camp here for the purpose of being near Lyons Beach. There's loads of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and playing golf, so it's totally impossible to get bored. So many local attractions and so much to do are tremendous reasons to come. The good folks who run this site and the delightful facilities will make you feel glorious. Kalama River has a close by whitewater run; the Lower Kalama Falls to Indian Creek segment is a wonderful 2.5-mile-from-beginning-to-end category III-IV | |

run of whitewater. This segment of Kalama River is wonderful for those with a little raft paddling knowledge. You have to check circumstances prior to departure; raft paddling can get dangerous.
