Deer Lake Resort, Washington     Custom Search   AMENITIES: Tent camping is available RV hookups are available Pets are allowed Fishing Boating Playground Cabins Boat Rentals Restrooms Showers Store Laundry Facilities Picnic and Barbecue area is available WIFI is available Bait and tackle Lodging Activities: boating, fishing, paddle boats, waterskiing, hiking, swimming, horseshoes, volley ball, biking, rowboats and golf This resort is nice and well kept however, NOT Federal ADA (American Disabilty Act Compliant) the owner is drives her golf cart around looking for problems at each campsite. Handicap parking is up by the store and no van accessible       parking to unload a wheelchair. No access for handicap people to go over the logs to get to the the beach, so there won't be any enjoyment for you with children or grandchildren. I'm not sure if the cabins are handicap or showers   are handicap accessible as we didn't use those. Regular parking is a nightmare. People park in the fire and emergency vehicle lanes and up the dirt driveways, so you can't pass. In the event you ever needed emergency services they would not be able to get to you. As for loading/unloading a boat they are right there on the golf carts waiting to talk to you once again. Oh and I heard her telling another person who was doing everything she could to just get into their car and left a tiny ding in the persons car door. She wanted them to pay the damage bill at her office instead of notifying the owner of the car and getting insurane information before they left or she was going to take their   license number and call the police on them for hit and run! I thought I was going on vacation, and it turned out to be a nightmare. We left and stayed somewhere else. I would say if you decide to stay, it's at your own risk!
