Lots of people choose this campground in order to be near Claytor Lake State Park. Covey's Family Campground is a campground that is fantastically loved by the people in Dublin. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back repeatedly. | |
There's more to do close to Covey's Family Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. New River has a nearby whitewater bit;
| | the Claytor Lake to State line section is a nice 52.2-mile-from-beginning-to-end type I-III bit of whitewater. The Claytor Lake to State line section of New River is proposed for whitewater boaters of medium skill. You must check circumstances before heading out; whitewater rafting and kayaking can become hazardous. There are great sites to look at along the Fire Trail. A fishing trip to nearby Appalachian Waters Float Fishing and Guide Service is always a wonderful idea, and the stunning marina of Rock House Marina is a magnificent scene to leave dry land behind. This campground is so splendid. When you're here at Covey's Family Campground it's always fun to visit Bluestone State Park. | |
