Always check circumstances previous to going kayak paddling given that kayak paddling is a hazardous activity. While you're here at Big Stony Family Campgrounds and you want to go for a horse ride, you may check out Possum Hollar Farms Country. The Mill Mountain Trail is a fine hiking trail right next door to Big Stony Family Campgrounds, and as expected, everyone loves Lost River State Park. This campground  
is so fine. A trip to a close by bowling alley such as Shenandoah Bowling Lanes is always amusing. Shenandoah River Andy Guest State Park is a fine location, and Woodstock Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to.
