Whitewater rapids are perilous phenomenons, so you should check current conditions in advance of a trip. Going for a nice fishing trip at Hiwassee Outfitters is always cool; there are plenty of folks from Delano here. Going for a hike on the Spanking Stump Trail is always a splendid adventure. If you have a boat, Lake Ocoee Inn & Marina is a splendid marina; if you've had enough of Mc Clary Bend, Parksville Lake is close by. There are magnificent places to discover along the Lowry Cove Trail; Nicholson Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking   a look at.
