Middle Tyger River has a delightful 2-mile-from-start-to-finish class III whitewater sweep close by, the Duncan to Startex segment. The Duncan to Startex segment of Middle Tyger River is suitable for whitewater paddlers who have been kayak paddling for a while but who are not yet prepared for the truly dangerous rapids. Unsurprisingly, kayak paddling is exciting but   dangerous; check restrictions before you go.
