Many people stay at this campground to be close to Quaddick State Park. You can't spend all your time indoors; you've got to get out of the house sometimes; Buck Hill Family Campground in Rhode Island is the outdoors at its most excellent. On nearby Clear and Branch you run into a type I-II section of whitewater; the Harrisville to Nasonville segment is 7.5 miles long. If you feel like getting wet, this section of Clear and Branch is perhaps not for you. Kayak paddling can turn risky, so check current conditions previous to going. If you enjoy bowling, Sparetime Recreation close to Buck   Hill Family Campground is splendid for you.
