Being mid- October it was in the low-mid 30s at night. The shower/rest room facility still had only screens in the window and some lights were non-functional. Nobody seemed to be inspecting the facility for the availability of toilet tissue or paper towels. While it is obvious that they cater mostly to larger campers which are self sufficient, a tenter is at the mercy of the management.       The amount of grassy area is very, very minimal. The new owners are in their first year. If you don't absolutely need to be in this general locale, there must be campgrounds in the area that are more considerate of tenters. Folks   who don't want to put in the effort to make your visit as pleasant as possible, are not interested in return business. At the store here at this campground you may buy required items, and just like all good campgrounds this one also has a swimming pool where you can take a magnificent bath. In case you enjoy comfort, there are magnificent cabins here at Shady Grove Campground. Enjoy playing golf here; there are tent sites here where you can pitch a tent.
